The Day at the Museum

After visiting the American Museum I saw some interesting things that I never seen before or even knew about before going. They did not just have small hand guns, they had a wide rang of firearms from the rifles to the rocket launcher and from the landmines to the different kinds of grenades. The things that shocked me the most was that the older guns and automobiles that were in the glass cases or on display still performed well after fifty years. They showed the different types of uniforms that the soldiers wore during the many generation of the military. Seeing the different things that the soldiers used during combat, I found interesting because I have never seen anything like it up close and personal. They also displayed different house tools and personals that the soldier used while out such as compass, dog tags, foot powder, tobacco, razor, glasses, bible and first aid pouches.

The museum did not just have materials from the Americans, they also had materials from the Germans and the Japanese army's. They had a lot of displays from the Pearl Harbor tragedy such as the ships, articles, pictures and the way the soldiers were dressed meaning the Japanese. A lot of artifacts were visible so people would know that these events did happen if they did not already know. Ever war that ever existed items was collected for memory, to be put into history books and placed at this museum to let it be known what happened in our history. While I was walking around and observing things it was like reliving the events because every war that took place had a display of its own which made me imagine if I was there with the soldiers.
